What inspired the name of the band? Is there a story behind it?

“We were messaging names back and forth in a group and “Local Brand” was what stuck haha.”

How did the members of Local Brand meet?

'“Kitchen jobs and other musical projects brought us all together.”

What era of music inspires Local Brand’s music?

“70s and onward. We all have varied tastes and it all depends on the day honestly.”

What singers/bands inspires Local Brand’s music? 

“Logan is a big Coldplay guy.”

What is the story behind your new single “Done It”?

“‘Done It’ is a bedroom pop groove that turned into a reflection on accountability and the power of choice.”

What is it about music that makes Local Brand passionate?

“Music is the closest thing to magic that we get and it’s also the most fun you can have with your friends.”

What can you tell us about your new album that’s coming out October 7th? 

“We are proud of the album and we feel it represents us and what we are about musically.”

Do you have any memorable moments from your summer tour that you’d like to share?

“Hotbox on Highlands was an awesome show in Birmingham ham. Imagine a house show in a historic district with a sea of people that grows every time you look out. It was a great night.”

Do you have any crazy stories that happened on or off stage?

“Grayson was choking on a cracker in the back seat and had to emergency maneuver out of the car and get some water.”

For people who have never heard of Local Brand, how would you describe the band’s music to new listeners?

“Indie pop rock if it was the 80s/ 4th wave intimate dance-punk.”
